"I'll accompany you," he said softly, following her and placing a hand on her back gently as he came alongside. "May I suggest the courts? There's a beautiful fountain and pretty of benches to sit on; you can still hear the music even while it's decently quiet."
Dima watched curiously as Aricin followed the woman. Akila joined in the gaze until another musical number started up, only slightly faster, a cheery one all the same, and they began to dance again, still nowhere near suggesting any intimacy between the two.
They were rather good at hiding that fact, some might say. But themselves-- well, it was more to the point that neither prefered that type of relationship.
But Dima, right now, was more interested in Aricin's actions. Perhaps--just perhaps, the man had found some caring for another person. Perhaps he could break the Lord of Avalbane out of his shell. Perhaps he would learn to love.
But not in the fashion he was afraid of-- the same that he and Akila shared together. After all, there was still his mother. And Shieg seemed rather attatched to the man already. He simply hoped that Aricin wouldn't hurt her.

Sheig smiled at him,
"You are so kind..."
she murmured, nodding and following Aricin. The walk was spent in mostly silence, Sheig listening to the music as they trod slowly down the path,
