Well you see, my favorite character that I roleplay, is a shaman. I was wondering if that was ok? If not I could make myself roleplay one of my other characters.
Oh and sorry if I haven't been doing much since I've joined, I've been kind of busy.

Here's the answer:
It depends on what exactly you mean by 'shaman'. If by weird looking pigmy guys skin and bones wearing a bone necklace and carrying a staff with a skull on top... please don't bring him to avalbane or Anoria. xDDD If a little less steriotypical (Well, okay, so the pigmy isn't a steriotype, I was going for getting the point across), sure. A guy with a staff that does random magic is fine.
The other thing it depends on? The type of magic this guy (or chick) does. We don't need people walking around with demi-god powers making the weather do whatever they want it to.

Um...ok....thats the first time I have heard that kind of view on a shaman before. My character is just your basic traditional shaman. It's a little hard to explain, works out better when you all know what a shaman is.

Yeah, yeah, we know what one is, I think. Well, I do. I was just overdoing it a little to get the point across, you know? By shaman, you mean a person, usually tribal, who serves as a 'connection' between the 'real world' and the 'spirit world' (or invisible world) and does magic, usually for healing healing, and controling some natural events, right? That's fine. (But they /are/ usually pictured with a staff or something. xD Yes, another steriotype. Mwaha. At least that's how I picture them. *giggle*))

You've got the basic idea Arwen. My character has a bit more fastasy build in. Also my character comes from some weird place...and if thats not ok, I can change it (If thats totally weird, I'm sorry, I still haven't finished looking around!) Ok I think thats about it.
