Sheig walked into the training grounds, eyeing the place with a satasfied nod. She had rolled her eyes when Kalmyr had come with a full set of weapons. Useless, she thought, when a good plains dweller could just shear you in half, no sharp metal things needed.
She glanced at Kalmyr, telling him that he could go do as he pleased for a moment as she warmed up. Centering herself in a relativly clear area, Sheig put herself through amazingly fast, complicated moves, high kicks, low kicks, a series of swipes, punches, and just for the hell of it a few flips and twirls for show.
Her twists and turns made it look like some kind of intricate dance pattern, and when she finished, a contented smile on her face, she turned and grinned at Kalmyr,
"Okay now we can start."

He, in his own turn, rolled his eyes as she 'warmed up', kicking and twisting, punching and flipping and turning.
"Show-off. Whilst we of the citadel have no need to warm up and flaunt our abilities before the fighting begins, nay?" he spoke in response to her last words, drawing the two handed long sword and sweeping it about a few times before pointing it directly at her, feet moving lightly along the ground until he was within a decent fighting distance from her.
"Alright. Now that you're ready, my dear..."
He smirked, tilting his head slightly.

Sheig was seconds away from pouncing on Kalmyr when she herself was pounced upon. A young boy, although at first glance he could have been mistaken for a girl, what with his curly golden locks and pink clothing, leaped through the air and landed on Sheigs shoulders, a great big smile on his cute face.
"Liah! Why are you all dressed up? is there a party?"
His voice was very high, and very cute. Sheig beamed at the young boy,
"Mijo! uh.. Kalmyr, this is Mijo... Meeji wheres your mom?"
"Gone!"
"Uhm.. and your dad?"
"Gone again!"
"Why are you... here?"
"I came to visit my Liah!!"
The boy leaped down with a "yipee!!" and proceded to glomp the girl, attaching himself securly to her leg.

Kalmyr lunged forward just as Shieg was readying herself to pounce. But when the boy pounced himself, he was forced to drop and roll to the side so as not to hit either with the sharp blade.
He gracefully stood, rubbed flat the hair at the back of his head--or was he simply rubbing his head in irritation?-- and watched the two.
"Shieg? His Liar? Now last time I checked you were neither 'Liah' or belonging to someone.
"And Mijo... How on earth did you find this place child? Your Liah here did not even know where it was! Dima had to bring her here. Honestly now."
But he smiled his charming smile, stepping towards the boy and Shieg with his weapon sheathed once again.

"oh, ah! a new friend!"
He leaped forward, pointing at himself.
"Im Mijo Hotaki!"
He grinned his huge, adorable grin and threw himself bodily at the elf, sitting on him like a piggy-back exept they where facing eachother,
"and I dont knwo how I got here! but thats okay becouse the people here are really nice!"
Sheig shook her head and chuckled. if mijo stayed long enough he wuld get the whole female population of the citadel fawning over him.
"Mijo..."
but the kid was still talking in his ultra cute voice to the poor elf,
"But I shouldent be here, Sis will be worried! infact, I have to go right now!!!"
he sprung off of the elf like a jack rabbit and hugged sheig, even as a blond haired woman, escorted by two gaurds, grabbed the kid by the ear and dragged him away.
Sheig shook her head,
"Sorry... shall we try this again?"
She moved back into position.

Kalmyr cleared his throat, slightly bewildered by all the goings on, and stood after allowing himself to be tackled to the ground by the child.
He rubbed his head again--and once more, was he rubbing his head, or smoothing his white-blonde hair?--and drew his blade, taking a moment to smooth his tunic.
But fearing another interuption on the way, he dashed towards her smoothly, blade held backwards at first, and then swinging towards her as he lunged.
"No more interuptions now, my dear... Just you, me, my blades, and your claws--and perhaps a blade or two for you later on. Come now, do your worst, love."
A wicked grin as he aimed the over-sized blade towards her shoulder, and then feinted to the side and swung it directly for her hip.

Sheig leaped over him, heading into a tackticle tuck and roll, coming up to almost literaly slap him in the butt with her paws, the claws sheathed- it was a playful slap.
"A hurricane couldent stop me from whoopin you!"
not waiting to see if she even hit him or not, she swung back and kicked forward with her right foot, back claws out. She aimed for his mid-back.

He twisted around just as the retracted-clawed paw touched his buttocks ((*giggle*)) and ducked down flat on the ground, allowing the claws to fly over his head before he rolled backwards and stood again, tossed the sword to the side, and withdrew two shorter blades from his belt, twirling them a few times before moving to circle in the fighting stance with her.
"Now... This is better for the close combat that your claws require, nay? And I beg to differ, but a hurricane would have both of our light elvish rears wiped away with the winds, my dear. You would probably be clinging to me for dear life!"
The same mischevious grin approached him as he continued to circle, watching her movements for an opening or weakness.
His was that his guard was often too low--but he hadn't offered that information with his actions yet. She would simply have to wait and see.

"Eh, close enough."
Sheig started to circle Kalmyr as well, claws flexing. After a moment, and using her foot claws for better leverage, she launched herself at him, one paw heading towards his abdomen, the other for his right shoulder.

He managed to duck the majority of her blows-- but the one meant for his midsection fell across his right shoulder as he rolled sideways. He gave a quick grunt as one claw barely managed to dig its way into his shoulder.
As he managed to duck that, even whilst he hit the ground, he threw his right leg up in front of her, launching it directly towards her midsection and swinging towards her back with one of his blades and towards her leg with the other, using only his left foot for leverage.
A bit of a disadvantage if he didn't manage to hit her. But what were the chances of that? Much more slim than the chances of his ducking her claws previously. And he hadn't managed that.

Sheig went to twist but didnt quite manage it, and Kalmyr's feet cought her in the stomach. Highly winded, his blade cought her leg as she rolled over.
she lay on the ground for a minute, catching her breath. Sheig began to laugh heartily, eyes closed and nearly winding herself again.
"Good show! but.. I thinnk Im done. Sorry. oh..."
She looked at her leg, frowning for a second, then smiled,
"hit for a hit I guess, ne?"
Her beatiful face lightening into a smile.

As soon as she began speaking, he settled himself, moving his weight to both feet again after nearly toppling over as her weight fell over his right leg. But he steadied himself with elven grace and moved closer to her.
"Let me see that," he said softly. "Not quite sure about how hard I hit you with the blade for the way you rammed into my leg like that, nay? Your claws just scraped my arm there, but not enough for serious damage. I didn't get you too badly?"
He began to move around so that he could catch a good glimpse of the leg his dagger had pierced, hand resting lightly on her ankle as he sheathed the daggers with the other hand.

"Im fine! really... I think..."
Sheig looked down at her leg curiously, smiling. the wound wasnt very deep, but it was bleeding quite determindly.
"Well, Ill live, at least. Besides, it is my fault remember? I let my gaurd down and got hit."
she gingerly ran a finger along the edge of the cut.
"Its just a scratch..."

"A rather nasty one all the same," he answered.
"Don't think I don't realize it was your fault though," he added with a sly, charming cock of his brows and a twitch at the corner of his lips. "I'm just saying that it's deep enough to make you bleed like this--and it needs to be cleaned up."
He began an ascent to standing position, extending a hand to her.
"Come on... Let's get that bandaged up, no?" he began as he gave a motion of his head towards a place a bit away where there was a small fountain and a white stone building (made of course of the same white stone as the rest of the chateaux). "There should be some supplies in there. Plenty of injuries to attend to. Yours certainly isn't the first."

She cought his hand and pulled herself up, but didnt start walking yet. Instead she pulled off her claws and turned to catch a peek at where she had hit him.
"well, Im not the only one with minor injuries! let me see!"
She gently tugged at his arm, urging him to turn so she could inspect.
"your not crying,"
she said with a giggle,
"So Im sure its not hat bad."

"You're not crying either," he argued. "And I think that yours is worse than mine."
All the same, he turned the shoulder to her and rolled up the sleeve so that the fabric was away from the wound that bled only a bit less than Shieg's own.
"Come on. We can inspect wounds more thoroughly when they're cleaned up, okay? Don't worry, you'll get your pleasure of noting that you didn't hurt me too badly in a few minutes."
He turned back and placed the undamaged arm about the woman's waist so as to help her get to the fountain, which rested about thirty metres away.

putting as little pressure on her injured foot as possible, she hobbled as gracefully as was possible for the situation over to the fountain, all the while leaning against the sarcastic elf.
about halfway there she lost herself in thoughts of a certain elflord that was still out of her loving reaches....

When they reached the fountain, Kalmyr turned so as to allow her to sit on the dry, widened edge of the fountain. A light mist was given from the water hitting the surface of the bowl full of perfectly clear substance, but other than that, it was perfectly dry where they sat.
As soon as he made sure she was at a seat, he pulled away.
"Give me a moment and I'll have some things to bind that with," he murmered as he took a bit of a gallop step to the side, then jogged off towards the small building.
And somehow never did he give away the pain in his left shoulder. Indeed, it hurt to move it back and forth as was demanded in jogging. But not too badly. A bit of herbs on it and all would be forgotten--not even a scar. All the same--

she called out after him, silver eyebrows contracted in annoyance. Stupid selfless court elves and their stupid selfless deeds...
she gingerly elevated her leg onto a nearby rock, it didnt hurt that much, but still, best nmot to make it worse.
Sheig quietly ran her fingers across the pool of water, admiring the ripples that splayed themselves out from her gentle touch.

"I planned on it," he called from inside the room when he moved inside.
He returned a moment later, jogging back, with a few cloths in hand and a roll of bandaging.
"Now... You seem to need care first, as your place is worse than mine. And I simply couldn't allow a lady as yourself to go bleeding while I was not, now could I?"
He gave a wicked grin, then moved to inspect her bleeding leg before dipping one of the cloths into the fountain and dabbing at the wound lightly.
