Baron turned and looked to Mevra, then seemed to shy over towards the fire. The air around his rider had grown colder, colder than it should have been.
Mevra smirked a little at the deer. "Too cold for ya, Baron? I think it's just fine out, lovely night really."

"Indeed," he mumbled, noting the awkward chill in the air. His already pale face grew pasty and his cheeks tookon a slight rosey color. He looked off in the distance where Maloin was sprawled out trying to sleep. A light cloud puffed out from somewhere underneath his auburn beard. Falamr heavyed a sigh, his only puff of air much heavier than Maloin's, that is, before it hit the fire.

Baron came up beside Falmar and nudged a bit playfully at his face with his nose. What he wanted was to be petted... Mevra wouldn't do that because he'd been goofing around.

Falmar, having a weakness for animals, instantly reached up to caress the fine pelt of the deer, first rubbing his forehead. He had been a bit surprised, but felt Baron would warm up to him sometime.

Mevra watched as Baron, happy to be petted, nuzzled Falmar's cheek in thanks. Smart as the deer might be, she still felt him foolish at times. She picked up a handful of snow and pressed it together into a snowball, tossing it up in the air and catching it. The cold didn't bother her one bit, she actually enjoyed it.

Falmar whispered a few words in his fine elven tongue as he stroked the deer, then stopped, fiddling with something behind Baron. A snowball suddenly flewout of nowhere, softly hitting Mevra. Falmar returned to innocently stroking the deer.

Mevra blinked and sat up, smirking. "So you wanna throw snow, now do you?"
Baron cringed a little. When it came to snowballs, Mevra almost always threw them hard. Or, maybe that was just when it came to him, because she also made them icy and colder than they should have been too. Perhaps, around these two strangers, she'd go softer.

He got on his toes on a sort of hunched postion, hands still on the ground, then gunned it towards the forest, diving into the shadows. He was simply a restless, mischevous elf.

"Well he's weird..." Mevra looked to Baron, whom only stared back."Guess I can freeze the place as much as I like now."
Baron shook his head, not wanting it to be colder than it already was.
"Oh c'mon,just a little?"
Baron sighed and Mevra took that as permission to make it a small bit colder. The air aroudn them turned a faint blue and seemed to sparkle like blue glitter. Once the glimmering color faded, the air was colder than before.
"Almost the perfect day."

The elf had run quite deep into the forest fully occupied with where he was going and expecting them to follow, but upon arrival to his destination he heard no following footsteps. He sighed and sat on a boulder covered with snow, eyes directed toward the magnificent beauty of the place he had found long ago in winters forgotten with time.
It was a small waterfall that, in the icy cold of winter, had frozen dead in the midst of it's slow splashing. The waterfall spread into a small pool at the base that had frozen solid. It was a beaver dam that slowed the water's flow abover and below. The ice above the waterfall had frozen as well, creating a winter paradise. The moonlight fell on the icicles that hung everwhere, giving everything a pale surreal glow that enchanted the place.

Baron looked from Mevra to Maloin, and turned off to find Falmar. The other two didn't seem like they were gonna do much anytime soon.
Mevra smirked as Baron left, and again the air turned to blue. Now she could make the air around her as cold as she liked, which was quite unbearably cold.

In the midst of Mevra's enchantment Maloin awoke, for he felt in his blood that if he slept much longer he would die. His body temperate had already dropped in his sleep, therefore making the new cold around him even worse.

Mevra settled back and watched the blue haze as it sparkled and glimmered. Something pulled at the back of her mind, that she'd forgotten something...or someone. Her eyes widened as she realised just what she'd forgot and looked over at the dwarf. "Oh shoot..." The blue air dimmed and faded, the temperature warming up some. She was a fool to have forgotten Maloin.
Baron tried his best at following the elf's scent. The further away from Mevra the warmer it got, and as he might've been used to the ice cold pressance of his rider he still couldn't stand the extreme cold she enjoyed.

Low whistling emmited from Falmar's blue lips as he immitated the soft calls of a few birds still lively at this hour. His soft elven beckoning attracted them, drawing them closer and closer. Eventually one adopted his shoulder as a wonderful place to stand and sing. The whistles soon turned into a deep content humming that resounded through the forest, penetrating the very hearts of the trees with some unknown elven enchantment.
Back at the encampment a soft, quiet hum reached Maloin's ears. He was beginning to get sick of these cruel figments of his imagination, or such was what he thought they were

Baron tilted his head to the side, his ears perked as he stared at the elf. This creature was one he found to be very odd, stranger more since he'd never met an elf before. Just humans, humans more or less like Mevra.
Mevra listened to the hum, shaking her head a little at it and looking around to see just where Baron had gone off to."Bar?Where'd ya go?"

" Follow the 'prints," Maloin grumbled sleepily ashe pointed to the small deer-prints in the snow.

"Huh?" She looked down at the hoof prints and sighed. "But of course." She got up and looked down at the prints, then over at Maloin. "You mind being left alone here?"

The dwarf looked around he dark forest surrounding him.
"I'll come with yea," he concluded, grabbing his axe, " Never know what dangers be befallen these woods an' it never hurts to bring a dwarf along."

"Alright then." She smirked a little and started off, following the tracks. The air around her remained cold, but not too cold.

Falmar's hum now turned into soft, low, elven lyrics as various animals came out of their slumber, drawn to him like a moth to the light. Though his voice was barely audible the trees still caught it, and their bark was rich with the enchantment that resounded through them. The place was lit with a pale aure that made the ice glow with magnificence.
